Insight

vipassanāQuán (Tuệ)
In brief

Insight (vipassanā) is the meditation practice of seeing experience clearly as it actually is, especially its three marks: that everything changes, that clinging brings stress, and that nothing we cling to is a solid, permanent self. It matters because this direct seeing—not just belief—is what gently loosens the grip of craving and leads toward lasting peace. In everyday life it's like watching a wave of anger arise, peak, and pass while you simply notice it, rather than being swept away by it.
