Renunciation

nekkhammaXuất ly
In brief

Renunciation (nekkhamma) is the willingness to let go of cravings and pleasures that keep us restless and bound, in order to make room for a freer, more peaceful heart. It isn't harsh self-denial or hating the world; it's the gentle release of what we cling to once we see it can't truly satisfy us. An everyday touchstone: choosing to put down your phone and rest your mind, not because scrolling is forbidden, but because you'd rather be calm and present than endlessly chasing the next hit of distraction.
