🧭 The Path
The Noble Eightfold Path
ariyo aṭṭhaṅgiko maggoBát Chánh Đạo
In brief
The Noble Eightfold Path is the Buddha's practical guide for moving toward the end of suffering, made up of eight connected practices: right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration. It matters because it gathers the whole of the Buddhist path into a way of living you can actually train in, balancing wisdom, ethical conduct, and meditation rather than mere belief. In everyday life it can be as simple as pausing before you speak to ask whether your words are truthful and kind — that one moment of care is the path in action.
