Abhidhamma

abhidhammaVi Diệu Pháp
In brief

The Abhidhamma is the third great collection of the Buddha's teachings, alongside the discourses and the monastic rules. Where the discourses speak in everyday stories and situations, the Abhidhamma maps the inner workings of experience in fine detail — breaking each moment of life into the mental and physical events that make it up, like a careful anatomy of the mind. It matters because it offers a precise vocabulary for what we actually notice in meditation and daily life: a single second of seeing, wanting, or letting go, examined closely enough to understand how it arises and passes.
